BUD Fund - Enterprise Support Scheme in the Mainland

To encourage Hong Kong enterprises to enter the Mainland market, the Government provides SME funding through the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD) of the Hong Kong Productivity Council to help Hong Kong enterprises explore business opportunities and enhance their competitiveness in the Chinese mainland market and the ASEAN market.

To strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises and develop more diversified markets, the Government has raised the cumulative funding ceiling for each enterprise under the BUD Fund to $7 million and the maximum number of approved projects for each enterprise to 70 with effect from November 2022.
